TECH-EXPO’98
A state level seminar–cum-exhibition was organised
by Dhanbad Chapter on 12th & 13th April’98 under
the convenorship of Dr. Lalan Kumar, District Informatics
Officer, CSI Dhanbad Chapter. In which Md. Saba
Ahmed, Honourable Cabinet Minister of Home (Jail)
was the chief guest on the concluding function where
as Sri V N Mathur, Divisional Railway Manager was
the Chief Guest on the inaugural function. The different
exhibitors have booked around 20 stalls and 35 papers
have been short listed for the presentation during
the said function. All event took place in the Campus
of Central Mining Research Institute, Dhanbad.
One day Seminar–cum-Live Demonstration on
MEDLARS (Medical Literature And Retrieval
System) has been organised on 16th Nov.’98
at Central Mining Research Station, Dhanbad
under convenorship of Dr. Lalan Kumar, District
Informatics Officer, National Informatics
Centre, Dhanbad. Sri Saba Ahmed , Hon’ble
Cabinet Minister of Home (Jail) was the chief
guest, Sri S B Singh, State Informatics Officer,
Bihar was the Key Note Speaker, Mrs. Naina
Pandita was the Guest Speaker, and Sri Rajesh
Chandra, Superintendent of Police was the
guest of honor. Around 145 Senior Doctors
have attended and got benefited by these services.
Bokaro, Dhanbad & Giridih’s renowned doctor
took actively participation in the said.
Computer Quiz Contest has been organised on
11th & 12th Nov.’2001 at Central Mining
Research Institute, Dhanbad. Sri Vinay Kumar,
Vice President, AMS Careers Pvt. Ltd., Patna
was the Chief Anchor and hosted the entire
programme keeping all the audience alive.
Dr. Lalan Kumar, Secretary, CSI Dhanbad Chapter–cum-District
Informatics Officer, National Informatics
Centre, Dhanbad was the Chairman of the organising
Committee. Sri B B Bhattacharya was the chief
guest for the prize distribution ceremony.
Computer Society of India, Dhanbad Chapter has been
designed and developed by Dr. Lalan Kumar, Secretary,
CSI Dhanbad Chapter–cum-District Informatics Officer,
National Informatics Centre, Dhanbad and has been
formally inaugurated at Central Mining Research
Institute, Barwa Road, Dhanbad.
